A four- night light and music festival organised by Aberdeen City Council to brighten up dark and chilly winter evenings. The event is taking place in a variety of indoor and outdoor venues in Aberdeen city centre including Union Terrace Gardens, Marischal College and Saint Nicolas Cemetery. The festival brigs together artists from all over the globe and also represents established Scottish artists and collaborators. The variety and innovation of the exhibits such as “Octopus Garden”, noise orchestra and Light Bulb Cloud could be a great attraction and inspiration for all including children, adults and elderly.  Although, the main programme is free, this year Spectra added a ticketed musical programme with DJ’s, music artists and AV shows. The festival aims to create an inviting, engaging and playful event with superior standard performances, art work exhibits and interactive experiences.
