Scottish Event Awards celebrates a decade of success in style!

The Scottish Event Awards is celebrating its 10th anniversary this Wednesday, 11th October at the Grand Central Hotel in Glasgow.

The event is not only an awards presentation but it provides suppliers to the industry with the perfect platform to network with potential clients and those they wish to do business with.

The Scottish Event Awards is a platform that brings those often behind the scenes to the forefront. Whether you are an event organiser, promoter, supplier, in-house team or venue, your success will be rewarded.

This year's shortlist were announced in August. The ceremonial awards will be attended by various prominent people from the events industry. Tom Ward will be the guest speaker on the night.

“There were some excellent entries this year and as the panel went through each of them, we decided to focus on three key themes throughout the judging process. We felt that success should be attributed to events that added real value to the local communities they were run in, offer a culturally diverse experience whilst remaining true to Scotland’s rich heritage and offer excellent sustainability by both creating a legacy long after the event and ensuring their processes were environmentally sound. Many of the award-winning entries offered these 3 attributes in spades.

Overall, an excellent set of entries with fantastic young talent shining through. Good luck to all those nominated and I look forward to meeting everyone at the awards dinner.”  - Damian Clarke, managing director at Undercurrent and chairman of the judging panel.
