Edinburgh Mela Festival

The Edinburgh Mela seeks to embrace all its diverse communities and cultures, providing a showcase and development opportunities for artists from within those groups, working alongside artists of national and international stature. Our aim is to provide a high quality festival of music, dance and the wider arts from around the world, with the express purpose of promoting understanding between people and advancing the cause of community coherence.

The Saturday and Sunday entry fee is £4 for adults each day; children aged twelve and under get in free. The Mela site is open from 12pm-9pm each day. Our wristband will gives you access to the site, and everything in the programme, for the whole day. It’s always worth booking early to avoid on-the-day queues!
