The Culloden Run 2015 at Culloden Battlefield

Both the 17.46k run (10.83 miles) and the 10K race are road runs based at the NTS Culloden Visitor Centre near Inverness. The 17.46k run pays homage to the Battle of Culloden in 1746 and will provide a scenic but testing route for runners to ‘battle with’ and passes by the prehistoric Clava Cairns and under the imposing railway viaduct over the River Nairn.

The Culloden 10K will provide a flatter and faster course for runners and joggers of all standards looking to run in an historic landscape. Recognising the sanctity and historic status of the battlefield the running routes will have no impact or presence on or near the actual battlefield site or associated monuments.
