TechFest

Aberdeen’s annual festival of science, technology, engineering and maths is back! 

TechFest will explore subjects through a programme of diverse and entertaining range of activities. 

This year’s festival is themed around the science behind our hobbies and interests. Topics covered include the science of the big screen with Hollywood Science, Animal Conservation with Animates and a Chocolate Trio with Cocoa Ooze.

Another theme running through the programme is natural sciences. Iain Stewart starts the series of talks as the opening speaker on 11th September, followed by Geology and the Landscape on 23rd September, and the Symphony of Soil on 1st October.

With a highly charged, diverse and entertaining programme, this festival will keep the whole family entertained and inquisitive.
