Come and join for a Highland extravaganza with the spectacular backdrop of the UK’s largest military fort. Getting off to a roaring start with a fly past from an RAF Typhoon and culminating in a dazzling fireworks display, the Tattoo showcases a mix of local, militaryand international acts and celebrates the best of traditional and contemporary Highland culture. The largest annual Military Tattoo outside Edinburgh, this family friendly event provides a flavour of traditional and contemporary Highland Culture, with highlights from The Military Band of The Royal Regiment of Artillery, the Pipe Bands of The Black Watch and The Highlanders’.

One of the most dramatic military settings in Highlands, Fort George is also home to the recently refurbished Highlanders’ Museum, which has the largest collection of military artefacts outside of London. Still a working military base this hidden gem is the perfect venue to host the 2015 Highland Military Tattoo. We look forward to seeing you at Fort George!

Food & Drink Village

In order to celebrate the ‘Year of Food and Drink’ in Scotland this year the Highland Military Tattoo will be promoting the best food and drink that the Highlands has to offer. The village will be ready for business as soon as doors open so come along early and sample what the Highlands has to offer. If you are coming as a family then fear not as children off all ages can be catered for.
